DAY TO DAY SUPPORT

Whether your support Contract is handled by Cognos directly or if you have an agreement with a Cognos Partner, there are many ways in which Frea Consulting can help. Having worked within the Cognos support department for many years we are able to replicate your issues off-site and prepare a test-case which we will then pass on to Cognos on your behalf, this can assist in accelerating the call logging and resolution process as we will ensure that all the steps to recreate your problem are documented fully, we will also ensure that all required screenshots and log files are included to reduce the time lost in requesting and obtaining these items.

Where possible we will use a VPN connection to your business that will allow us to attempt problem resolution directly on your servers or even to collect information to submit to Cognos Support, this service can take the stress away from your I.T. department who may not have the time or skills required in the Cognos products.

OUT OF HOURS SUPPORT

Our Out of Hours Support contracts can give you added peace of mind during busy periods such as go-live or month and year ends ensuring that when you are working late to hit a deadline that you have access to help if its needed.

We can also provide critical support for world-wide deployments to assist if your systems go down outside of UK working hours or at weekends making sure that your users can continue to work even when you are at home.
